Call of Duty: World at War is a great first-person shooter. I have played many first-person shooting games over the years and this game is easily 1 of my top 2 for this category. When you play this game you feel like in your in a different world. Actually you feel like you are on the battlefield which makes the game so much more enjoyable. For a first-person shooter game to be successful, it must make you feel like you are inside of it and this is what COD  5 does.

Pros

• Very realistic
• Sound effects are outstanding
• They really develop the characters in this game well. What I mean by character development is when they die you actually get a little sad because you actually liked this character.
• Non-stop enemies. The men who charge you with bayonets creates a great uniqueness to the game
• Very creative scenery
• When you shoot someone with a bigger gun there is lots of blood and it blows them to pieces!
• Explosions going on around you 24/7. Keeps the game up tempo.
• 4 different difficulty levels to choose from.
• Nazi Zombies is intense and is a good way to challenge your friends to see who can survive longer.

Cons

• Graphics were o.k but could have been a little bit better.
• They missed tiny details like being able to shoot a wine bottle off the table and seeing it smash, shooting a light and  it stays the same etc.
• Grenade indicator very hard to see. In COD 4 it was perfect butit is like they had dimmed the grenade indicator in COD5.
• Not many weapons to choose from. When I played the campaign I only played with about 8 different weapons.
• Campaign was ridiculously short. You could beat it in a day. However, I do beleive there are some map packages you can download.
• I had some trouble with saving my game. It turns out you have to complete the missions on the same level of difficulty on solo player to unlock the missions in co-op.
• This is just me but I find it frustrating that you must complete the campaign before you play Nazi Zombies.

Pros

• Very cool boss at the end. Although very frustrating to fight him as he appears and reappears every 5 seconds, very fun.
• You get to use anti-air and turrets to fight enemies quite a bit.
• Lots of enemies to fight.
• A huge amount of award achievements in this game. At least 10 achievements.
• Good length of campaign

Cons

• Like Resistance the enemy guns are better than yours.
• In Killzone 2 there is a laser gun that is the best weapon into the game and you only get to use it once. I really wish I could have had this gun in the final boss level.

• In the boss level there is not enough save points. I had to play the same part over and over again as it did not save enough.

Personally, I would give this game a 7.5 out of 10 because I did not find it unique from any other first person shooters.

Pros

• Good premise.
• Variety of weapons to unlock. Some of them are Claws,huge fists, and my favourite the blade.
• You unlock so many abilities you can almost personalize your character the way you want.
• I love how you get health. Consuming a person or creature. Fantastic!
• Not only can you beat the campaign but there are tons of side missions to choose from.
• Very easy to use and handy miny map at the corner of your screen.
• Lots of blood and gore when you are slashing through enemies.
• You can also use devastator attacks to defeat the enemy. Spikes come up through the ground. So cool!
• Open world settings. Take over military bases or destroy hives, do side missions, or just go around and kill! You decide! When get stuck on a part I take my anger out by slashing everyone in my path!

Cons

• Difficult to access weapons and abilities when you are starting out.
• Graphics are dull and a little boring. I was expecting better for PS3.

Personally, I would give this game a 9.5 out of 10 because there is just a massive range of abilities you can use. Very fun, exciting, and high paced game.

Pros

• Scary and dark setting.
• Creative enemies.Some include dolls that blow up in your face. Shadows that chase you and try to kill and then there is just the typical manic/canibal that will kll anything in its path.
• Not only do you have to deal with the phycos on the streets but the military shoots at you also.

• Slow motion kills on enemies. (Combination of R1 and L1)
• I really enjoyed playing against the different bosses. Very intense and upbeat.

Cons

• To dark sometimes to see where you were going.
• There were some scenes that your vision blurred,you could not see anything and your enemies continued to hack away at you.Very annoying.
• It was very lame how they made you do pointless objectives. Some include doing a random puzzle my matching wires to fix an elevator, and oe of the last objectives was to fin and detroy all bombs in a abandoned house. They don’t even give you a map to find these. You may find yourself searching hours before you complete the objective!

• When you find a gun you will find after a few seconds your ammunition is depleted. Not enough ammunition in the game. However, you can pick a crobar off the ground. But this does not help when enemies have ranged weapons.
• Online is very bad. Not many players play online and not much to do.

Overall, I woud give this game a 7 out of 10 because it was a bit to complicated to play. Confusing story/plot and you get stuck on a lot of parts in the game. I found myself searching the internet for walkthroughs more than once!

Condemned 2 Bloodshot Picture!

Pros

• The graphics in this game are so realistic. They make game play much more intense.
• There are so many weapons to choose from. At least 6 different guns.
• There are so many chapters/levels in this game giving you a long story mode to play. Variety of different maps and settings.
• There are many different enemies you fight.  Including fat zombies, thin zombies, zombies that have masks on representing tribes etc. This makes the game never get repetitive.
• Music is very high paced and keeps you alert for zombies at all times
• There is even some action in the movie clips you have to push a combination of buttons and I found that this was very unique.

Cons

• Your inventory space only allows you to carry 9 items but there are about 20 weapons, ammo, and kevlar to carry in the game in total.
• Some of the bosses are way to difficult so you have to put your difficulty level down just for that boss
• You run out of ammo really easily in the game. Although zombies you kill drop ammo it never seems like enough
• If your partner dies you have to restart from the last checkpoint

Overall, I really enjoyed playing the game. On top of all this there is a great twist at the end that is very unexpected!

Personally, I think this game is a 9 out of 10 as the bosses and zombies are very fun to kill and there are tons of weapons to choose from! On the Ps3 the game is worth a good $65.00 used at EB Games!
