Tornadoes in Ontario,Canada!

Usually, Ontario does not get any tornadoes! The bad part was there was a tornado warning right where I lived! So my family and I watched the lighting and rain for a while. Then a lightning strike so big it lit up the black, cloudy sky with the single bolt. Fortunately not much was damaged where I lived, except for my pool fence broke and some trees snapped in half. But that was not the story everywhere. Parts in Toronto were flooded and a category 2 tornado went through and damaged many homes. In the place of Durham there was a also a category 2 tornado and many people again were left homeless, cars were found thrown in other peoples driveways, and just everything was a mess as the tornado  picked up and threw debris everywhere. I sure hope there are no more tornadoes coming.

    I hid in my closet for 2 hours down in the basement with everything from my room….that was how scared I was lol :P

    i was at toronto motorsports park on august 23rd and at 1ish i got video of a funnel cloud. the weather network hasnt got back to me about it. i hope 2010 is a great tornado season and no one gets hurt. ill be chasing any if i see more.
